1.Idea &creative
Idea & creative stage arethe most important premises and also soul of interior design. The prior factor to create a perfect quality image is idea, which makes sure coherencefor the concept during the technical process. Creation in interior design expressesdesigner’s ability in composing color as well as using high technical elements. People who do this job are most engineers or designers, having well creative ability and good knowledge about art as well as huge of living experience. Except for orientation, preliminary is considered as a logicalchart for next stages carried out by hand: pen and drawing paper.

2. Modeling

Modeling in rendering is considered as a “spine” of interior design performing structure, rate accuracy and ability in producing product. In this stage, main frames such as: wall, floor, ceiling, door, stairs are shaped by technological plan extracted from Autocad 2D or built up on 3D software programs. In order to control well these factors, they would be divided into many different groups and layouts. Some objectsfirstly would be showed frombasic frames of spatial geometry such as: Square, triangle, rectangle…Continuously, designers would use some supported tools such as: cut, rotate, turn…and some instructions: inference, repeat. People do this job are most artists, having good ability at rendering, good knowledge about object rate. Besides, they are well technical experts, which is the most important thing. To carry out this stage well, designers should use high quality computer and some original software programs such as: Sketchup or Solidworkwould be required high speed and effectiveness. We probably save a several time if we could creative a good modeling product from 2D image used in production without next steps.

3.Texturing
3D artist applies image to the 3D model to make them look as realistic as possible.Lighting and rendering would be mingled together due to logical element in using software program. However, in some specific projects, 3D material is also used in interior design process. If some basic frames are firstly shaped at modeling stage, material would be meaningful factor to depict realistic scenes at this stage, which requires sensitiveness and aesthetics as well as ability in updating and using new material.Material mapping normally is carried out on 3DsMax and Photoshop program

4. Lighting
At this stage, setting up lighting is a significant step in simulating dynamic scenes. In other words, the 3D artist sets up lights in the 3D scene to replicate lighting in the real world. This stage is similar to the way a photographer or videographer set up lighting equipment before shooting. We can imagine that we put that frame into physiological environment to light it. All the lighting solutions in nature are performed based on physical specification including refraction, affection of color or time. Inspite of being supported bysome lighting handle program such as:Vray, Corona, Maxwel….However, sensitiveness and experience are the most important factors which artist need to have. Choosing lighting condition would depend on scene or material’s characteristic such as: lighting from outside, insides, or compositional light… and this is extremely important to achieve best effect.

5. Rendering

This stage is implemented solely by computer. Based on size of drawing files, we would use corresponding computer. However, in order to handle a professional drawing, we need to use super computers which are able to make an image processing with high speed and also create high resolution images from Full HD to 4k. Time of rendering could last long in a several seconds to several hours, even in several days, depending on the complexity of the model and the quality desired. In some cases this will be done on large rendering computer called render farmed.Particular orders normally require resolution clearly, mainly used for advertising, slideshow, big size printing.

From detailed document above, we can see the great difference between original rendering and rendering design. The first one is simulation under introduction and idea of clients, try to produce image as same as possible. The second one aredesigner’s ideas and consultation presented to clients, in this case, designers are able to express their creative ability to bring clients a perfect product. When both designer and client reach a final agreement, a contract would be made based on specification and aesthetic elements.
